Share a bit about your practice (what client population(s) do you serve? What outcomes are you targeting?).

I serve women over 40, primarily 45-70 in any stage of menopause. I support them with fitness and the exercise programming that supports reduction of symptoms and enhanced aging through strength, power, mobility, stability and all things directly linked to longevity.

How have you implemented Theia in your practice?

I use this as a benefit for New VIP private clients in our early work together as well as share within our membership and periodically do group challenges with them. We also educate on the benefits of knowing blood sugar response with our community at large from podcasts and a thriving YouTube channel.

What are you evaluating when reviewing a client’s glucose data?

We’re evaluating the response of their health habits on the blood sugar response. We begin with a benchmark and then suggest single changes to systematically measure the impact of exercise, sleep, stress food timing and food type. We’re educating them on how to look at the outcomes they get and change their personal “normal” and goals. So we look at typical before change, spikes and dips, recovery from spikes and do so collectively with their energy levels and the outcomes they have or want.

What impact has partnering with Theia had for you and your clients?

The insight they get in immediate feedback means better compliance. They’re fully participating and in control as opposed to getting a list of suggestions for action they can’t see the affects of. Better compliance means better results and outcome. They realize much more quickly that choices matter.

How has Theia helped you scale your practice?

It’s been a game-changer for clients to get immediate feedback and to be able to work with me directly on the use of the monitors. It’s improved customer outcomes, provided learning opportunities that bring the community together, and contributed to the bottom line. It’s provides me with key insights into the following:

  • Prioritizing and learning sleep-enhancing habits
  • Sequence of consuming foods
  • Daily movement after meals and intermittently breaking up sedentary time
  • Consideration of stress before making food or exercise choices
  • Finding their optimal fasting window (generally, not going too long)
